The Adventures of James Rule
Thursday 30 September 2010
Eighteen year old James Rule was on the witness stand telling the Judge
and the courtroom his life's story.
He said he was abandoned as a baby and spent his
life in one foster home after another. He never had job training.
And he just spent 4 months in a juvenile
reformatory. And that it was a total waste of time. He told the Judge
the only reason he would steal was for money for food. That he never
hurt anyone nor destroy property.
Further he told the Judge that he, James Rule,
needed
help like job training. To put him back in the reformatory would be a
total waste of time. And to put him into an adult prison would do no
good.
The evil Judge sentenced James Rule to an adult
prison.
And minutes after the decision I spoke to the lawyer
that represented James Rule. The lawyer told me if a person does a
crime, the next time they should throw away the book. And that was the
lawyer that represented James Rule. Evil lawyer, eh? Justice? NO.
Retribution? Yes, sadly.
I spend two weeks trying to see James Rule in the
adult prison without success. Finally I was able to talk with the
Warden by phone and he told me that since I was not a relative, I could
not visit
James Rule. I explained to the Judge that James had NO relatives. And
the Warden began to become suspicious that maybe I was an accessory to
any crimes of James Rule. After about 5 to 10 minutes of the Warden
talking, he wanted to leave. But I said NO and that it was now my turn.
I accused the Warden of operating a crime school,
and that James Rule would be educated in crime. And that the Warden was
responsible for future behavior of James Rule. I think the mind and the
brain of the Warden shrunk as a result of my verbal attack.
It is my opinion that when James Rule was released
from adult prison, he would pursue a life of crime. What other choice
did society give him?
I have talked with teenagers who told me they would
earn their living by crime the rest of their lives because of the way
society has treated them. Prison and etc. you know.
And if James became a murderer as a result, I would
understand. It would NOT be right, but I would understand. Would you?
I speculate that the mother of James was either
raped or was not married, etc. and did not want to raise the child, and
thus abandoned the child. I speculate further that the mother was not
raised with good role model parents.
And I speculate further that the foster homes for
James Rule, that such homes were operated with government funds, and
that the people who operated those homes were NOT prepared to be
excellent role models for James, amd DID NOT provide James with job
training,
etc. What say you?
I believe that there are thousands of people like
James Rule among us. And that the cause is the ineptitude of government
to prevent the problems. And that many Judges should be put in prison
for their crimes against the defendants in their court rooms!
The best cure is prevention. So what can you do to
help prevent such horror stories in every day life?
