ADVERSITY
Monday 11 February 2008
Over the years
from my experience in helping people with common sense, spiritual
insights, etc. I realize that many people allows problems to manifest
BUT do not address them to solve them. Instead they procrastinate and
put off confrontation.
I recall a
sucessful businessman who every day at 10 am went into his office,
closed his door, and no one was to disturb him for the next 30 minutes.
This was his worry time. During those 30 minutes he faces his problems
to work out solutions. And if not solved, would then face them the next
day at the same time. The rest of the day he would do his work without
worry, and if a problem came up that he could not solve then, he would
put it aside for his worry time the next day. This method did work for
him.
Some people love to worry. If they did not have something to worry about, they would be worried.
Recently I met
people who seemed to miss out on COMMON SENSE 101. They have allowed
obligations to be ignored till now a half dozen problems require
immediate solutions or they will face severe financial loss. So what
was my advice? Go and find a bank manager in a small town and ask for a
given amount of money for a given period of time and tell him how you
will pay it back. Be candid. List all of your obligations, and your
assets, etc. Sooner or later a bank manager in some small town will say
yes. Do not become discouraged if at first you do not succeed. Keep at
it. And be honest about it. Because if you hold back, and a bank
manager senses that, I am sure he will back away immediately. No second
chanch with that manager.
There are what I
call turning points in a person's life. I have faced adversity and for
a number of hours I did not know what I would do. But then, it came to
me, and I had a new direction which I pursued. And I won. There is a
saying that from adversity come the seeds for great success. How true.
But it is also a matter of attitude.
Consider that what
you did or did not do in the past has brought you to this moment of
time. And so, perhaps each day do something to help build your future?
There are turning points in our lives. And sometimes we can not change
what has happened except by doing things now, every day. So, bit by
bit, moment by moment... great things can be achieved. You know
dedication.
Personal relations
are very important in your life for success and happiness. Some people
are good news, and some are very bad news. Check out the biorhythms re
the physical, intellectual and emotional cycles for you and for others.
They can predict failure in relationships. So maybe wise to know in
advance? Also consider numerology. Check out those who are experts in
their fields... and in numerology. Valid advice can help you avoid the
pitfalls in relationships, and decisions. This applies to marriage as
well as to business, etc. I kid you not.
Attitude is
important. I knew a Chinese male friend that expressed his desire to
hitchhike from Toronto across Canada. He asked me to do some inspired
writing per his proposed activity. Well I told him that from my
personal point of view, I did not think it was wise. But the
information from the inspired writing advised him to do so. And he did.
And as long as his mind was positive, things were okay. But if he went
negative, bad things happened to him. The bottom line is he ended up in
South America. He could easily write a book on his adventures.
There is a
fantastic amount of guidance available to each of us if we but search
and ask. I am talking about the deep well of wisdom within our soul.
The key is prayer and meditation every day. Prayer is when we talk to
God. Best not to reach to any lesser entities. And meditation is when
we clear our mind so God may speak to us in clear thought. Some claim
they talk with God every day by reading a Holy Text of some kind. That
is not what I mean. It will take you dedication. And time. Be patient.
Spend perhaps 20 minutes a day in prayer and meditation, say 4 am. I
kid you not.
Many people believe if they start a business they
can make lots of money. Well, maybe. Might be wise to understand how a
profit is made and that means an understanding of accounting
essentials. And also sales and marketing. And business ethics. And how
to build a business from your own income, and not borrowed money. Even
let the business grow from the profits. And if not profitable, be wise,
and close it down. And know your business. And do not be afraid of work
to succeed. And be honest. And watch out for those super cons that are
not honest.
The
solutions to your problems often can be found at the end of your arms.
That is your future is in your hands.
Peace, love, light, healing, hugs, and prosperity to you and your loved ones.
